This chemical-resistant zipper pouch is built for liquid fertiliser solution refills and institutional dispensing on the US East Coast. The standard laminate is PET/VMPET/PE with a chemical-resistant PE sealant, giving a printable outer layer, a metallised barrier for odour and moisture control, and a strong seal for concentrated nutrients. A resealable zipper supports refill and reuse programmes, while an optional dispensing valve or spout fitment allows controlled pouring into tanks, sprayers and dosing systems. Flat or stand-up formats can be specified, and the pouch can be engineered around your fill volume, closure torque and transport requirements. If the finished fertiliser solution needs UN-rated transport, we review the UN number, packing group and closure specification before quoting a compliant construction.
Graphics are produced by 10-colour rotogravure printing, which is suitable for brand blocks, bilingual dosing instructions, lot coding areas and East Coast distributor marks. The pouch can be supplied with a press-to-close zipper across the top, a fitment valve for low-glug dispensing, or a combined zipper-and-valve format where the application needs both resealability and controlled flow. Filling can run through the open zipper or through the spout/valve, depending on the final construction and fill line. We recommend pre-production samples to confirm film feel, zipper opening force, valve function and chemical compatibility with your fertiliser solution. Standard MOQ is 10,000 pouches per size and artwork, with sampling and artwork proofing agreed before production. Lead time is confirmed after sample approval and print-ready files.
For refill and reuse programmes, the zipper pouch can be designed with reinforced top seals, a durable zipper track and a valve cap that supports repeated opening and closing. Chemical resistance should be matched to the fertiliser solution's pH, salt load, solvent content and surfactant package; we can quote alternative structures such as PET/AL/PE for higher barrier or a thicker PE sealant for aggressive fills. Dispensing valves are available in different bore sizes to suit jerrycans, sprayers, drip systems and dosing equipment. Before production, confirm fill temperature, headspace, drop-test route and any UN-rated transport requirement so the construction, fitment and packing method are aligned. This keeps the pouch practical for East Coast household, institutional and light-industrial fertiliser refill channels.
